If it was dumbed down for casuals then this would be the first time I would honestly say SCREW casuals!!! Guess it never bothered me until it hit one of my favorite games of all time LOL

I'm still buying it, and I will still love it.

It will also be one of few, if not the only game that my sister might play, and due to the controls, my dad will also play.

Personally I thought Double Dash was a huge step down from MK64, perhaps it was the nostalgia or whatever, but i remember picking up MK64 and instantly falling in love with that game, few games have had that effect on me, and certainly Double Dash wasn't one of them
I don't have crazy hopes for this one, but i guess saying it deserves it without actually playing is pretty... fanboyish
One reviewer gave it a bad score? who are these reviewers anyway? don't juge a game until you've tried it, screw the scores, there's people that hate Halo (like me) and people that hate FF, and i'm pretty sure there's someone outthere that loved ET or superman64..

Okay Ninty, that was incredibly stupid doing that. I am so pissed one of my favorite series has been dumbed down.

Maybe make a gameplay option for casuals and one for hardcores. Or simply add MORE options for casuals instead of TAKING AWAY from hardcores.

Mario Kart has been for me the best series of all series of all consoles of all time.

Better even than the Final Fantasy, Zelda, Metroid, Resident Evil and Metal Gear series.

I hope I won't get dissapointed....

I don't think Mario Kart deserves a 9 or even an 8 for taking out co-op GP mode and turning battle mode into another mindless FPSesque respawn fest.

Unless the gameplay turns out to be ridiculiously improved.

Even then i don't think i can forgive them if it really is true they took out the "stock" battle mode.

 Good point.  I will wait for the release before I get pissed off.

Than again they gave halo 3 10/10, i understand it's a great game, but it has to many flaws to be even consider perfect. That's why i'm not really into trusting them.

First off, co-op GP mode is in (i read it somewhere, gonna find the link) and the game just can't be that bad, 1 point more than Dementium? No.
