Nintendo stocks are currently highest in last 6 years, beating even last year's boost because Pokemon Go announcement stock effect.

But yeah, they are riding on the commercial burst of Switch, Zelda and MK8 wave. They will need to push the wave further, with gameplay of SM Oddysey and the release of ARMS and Splatoon2 this summer. Hopefully that is enough until the holidays and then hopefully SM Oddysey is not delayed to 2018. If it is delayed, what is there of incentive to buy a Switch in the second half of 2017?

From an investment POV it's not that surprising ... Switch is selling well and so did the NES Classic and both are products Nintendo owns/controls the profit stream on entirely.

Pokemon GO they only had a small share of the profits.

EAD Tokyo is very good about getting games done on time. Mario Odyessy probably could've been released earlier than November, but obviously I think Nintendo wanted to save it for November. The main EAD Tokyo team has not done anything since Mario 3D World in Nov. 2013 ... so they'll have had 4 years to work on Odyessy. 

Exact same time-frame for Sony Stock coincidentally, highest since Feb 2011, 6 years. Both doing well, hopefully they can keep it up. Though if Sony doesn't we all know it won't be PlayStation to blame... it's the EMOJI MOVIE.

Nintendo in January said that SM Odyssey was basically finished, decision to make it big holiday title was strategic decision, if they wanted they would make it to be launche title alongside Zelda.

Splatoon2 is in second half of 2017. For now Swith looking strong until for rest of year if we talk only about exlusives:

-June - ARMS

-July - Splatoon2

-Avgust (probably) - Mario x Rabbids

-September (probably) - Fire Emblem Wariors

-October (or December) - Xenoblade 2

-November - Mario Odyssey

Have on mind that Nintendo could easily announced at E3 some other game/s alongside Mario x Rabbids that will be launched this year (for instance rumored Pokemon or Pikmin 4...at this point I think that rumored Smash Bros port is 2018. game).
