It's a good game. It becomes a bit grindy, but it's excellent old school platform style gameplay at its finest. The traversal dungeons alone are worth the price of admission. They are dungeons that revolve around maneuvering in a time limit to complete.

Watch a review and see if it's for you. Loading times were horrendous last time I played but the game was super addictive for me. Not sure what I'd compare it to. For my tastes, it was worth full price.

it was decent. This is probably the best time to pay for it.

Go for it.

played it from start to finish, story was good and it had some of the best platform puzzles/sections in recent games, very cool. The combat was allright but it was a bit of a grind I found the game well worth it on the original price so yeah!

Grindy? I was not expecting that in a game like this.

Isn't there a definite version coming up? I'd probably wait for that.

I'm hoping and praying for a free upgrade for people who have the original. Or, at least a discount.

Hmmm. I assume it wasn't be a stealth upgrade though. When Bethesda did that with skyrim on the PC they gave people plenty of time to buy the original, then upgrade that for free.

So they will probably announce the game, announce the free upgrade and give people time between to buy it or not.

I would hate to buy the "earlier" one only to find out I have to buy the "newer" one later though. So probably best to wait until at least it is announced?

I would if I were you. There were a few times where we got the better version simply by owning the prior (Limbo, Castle Crashers, Ori) but you never can tell. There's probably far more examples where we didn't!

I picked it up about a month ago on sale $19.99.

Really good game.
