Forums - General Discussion - Tonight w/ Star: Phone Problems

I've officially renamed Star at the Bar since my bar days with this client are coming to a close. So yeah! Anyway...

Phones! In my last thread I brought up how annoying it was that my phone deleted my contacts and photos. Apparently it did much more than that. I have an iPhone 6S. The problems started when it wouldn't update last month with the most recent, well, update. Things progressively got worse until yesterday occurred.

I was at a graduation event yesterday. During a speak some boring A+ student was giving I wanted to check Twitter. I went on the app and suddenly the screen turned black, froze, crashed, and then brought me back to the main screen. I tried Twitter again only to get the same result...

I tell myself, it's just a glitch. After I reset everything will be okay. Nope. In fact now even my texts were equally fucked.

My phone started slowing down and moving across screens went to a crawl. Eventually it was unresponsive so I tell myself I should try resetting it again... but before I do that the phone does it for me.

When I get the phone back on all of my contacts and photos are gone. I was pissed but I needed to take pics for the graduation so I attempted to. Except a few minutes later all of the photos magically erased too. And yes I tried sending them out before that happened only to have the picture turn completely grey when I sent it.

Well now my phone signs me out of different apps periodically such as Twitter, FB, Twitch, Youtube, etc for no explainable reason. It also freezes a bit too much for my liking. It really pisses me off honestly XD but whatever... I think I need a new phone.

Oddly, this phone has never had water or any other kind of damage. So its very weird to me that itd do that.

Any bad phone experiences for you guys?

P.S. No, I won't get an android. Because 1. The purchases I made here are, of course, non transferrable, and 2. I rely on iMessage these days XD

I've only had a phone for a few months, so it's not really enough time for too much to happen. Mine's mainly worked as it's intended to.

Why did it take so long to get a phone?

I didn't really need one. But with university and a job, it became necessary. Before then I was able to make due without one.

No, I really hate the small touchpad keyboard, as I'm way too used to typing on a computer.

Well, I do love being able to use the internet, that's for sure! But I have a hard time typing on it, and I really hate the autocorrect.
