Last week..it was down last week. The map had a huge yellow spot in my area. It's literally almost weekly. I live in a city and have google fiber. Despite that PSN is often down here. PSN to download is also extremely slow. PSN is not worh thte 60 bucks a month but I do it to back up my saves online. I still won't forgive PSN going down in October when I was having the online match of my life in King of Fighters XIV. I was kicking all kinds of ass against a very highly ranked player. I was in the zone more than I ever have been in a fightng game. ALL of that was lost because PSN went down mid match. I am still pissed about it. Yet been able to recapture that.

Then that seems to be a problem on your side, because if PSN was actually "down" it would be down nationwide not city wise.

No it's not my side when I am still getting the same speeds on everything else and yes PSN does have problem areas. You can check a map online. The yellow spots which mean PSN is having issues in those areas were mainly on the west coast. Sometimes it's just areas within a couple states.

ok lol, if it were actually down like you say, we would 100% be getting articles saying "PSN is down", like we always did, haven't seen one like that in forever.

PSN is down 80% of the time tho. Yes I am a PS+ subscriber.

That is a blatant lie, if any service was down 80% of the time it would have no users. Don't spread such bs.

You should't respond to a guy who pays 60 bucks a month to use the playstation network^^

Now I wonder how many of those 70 million are paying for PS+.

21 million

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2016/06/29/nearly-21-million-playstation-plus-subscribers-sony-reveals/

Incorrect.  That is from almost a year ago.  They surely have a lot more since.  They'll probably pass 30m this year.  That's 1.8BN in ps plus revenue.  WOW!

I recon by the end of the gen PS plus will be bringing in over 2.5BN annually thanks to ps plus alone. Next gen on PS5 it will probably get even higher.  Sony have hit the mother of all gaming goldmines.

Doood, sounds like whoever you're paying to get your PS+ sub is ripping you off big time!

Whoops I meant a year. Edited that post now.

Most of them? I have no idea.

*edit: judgeing from jason1637 post probably like 26-30m or so.

(if in back early 2016, it was 60m users and 21m PS+ subs).

It goes down less often than what Saturn used to flop back in the day.

Jokes aside, this kind of ridiculous statement holds no ground and never did since I can tell.

I've been playing on a friend PS3 since 2009 and later with mine, than with my PS4 now, and I can count in a single hand the times I saw PSN go down while playing, that's how little it ever affect me as an individual in almost a decade, and half of those were fucking purposedly DDoS attacks, and the last one of those, by those lizards guys, the fuckers even said PSN was harder to get down than the XBL, the freaking hackers that lived to put those networks down said it themselves.

I dunno about the speeds because my internet speed is shit so I get what I can without a problem, tho, but the "PSN is down" myth is some of the most ridiculous stuff I see people trying to push, almost as ridiculous as trying to ditch graphically accomplised games as things that don't have gameplay.

Read my previous posts on this forum I already explained. Here it goes down more often than a dude on a forum asking for a sequel to a mediocre RPG no one else cares sabout.
