We dont have anything recent but a few years ago MS siad around 50% of XBL users have XBL Gold but that was before the XB1 launched so it snot up to date.

"Since people will inevitably ask. Xbox Live monthly active users is 52 million. That number includes PC and Mobile users."

Now I wonder how many of those 70 million are paying for PS+.

Last year they said they had 23 mil ps+ subscribers. Id think it should be a few million more by now

21 million

Thank you both. Putting online multiplayer behind the paywall paid off nicely. Personally, since I don't play online and their recent PS+ offers have been hot garbage to me, easiest saved 60 bucks.

I've also never been enticed by PS+ deals and my library consists of singleplayer games, so the subscription offers very little value for me.

I will always be a member of PS+ (if you need it for online) since most of my time i play online games, i also play a lot of singleplayer games, but obviously you cant play them all the time like fifa, cod, bf, rainbow and all that stuff^^

PSN is down 80% of the time tho. Yes I am a PS+ subscriber.

That is just so bullshit now, people need to stop saying that. No, it actually doesn't go down 80% of the time, PSN is like 5x better than the PS3 days. Mean while, Xbox Live has actually gotten worse.

I can't even remember the last time PSN went down.

I still haven't made the jump to PS+. Xbox Live just has everything I want. I want to eventually tho if I get more MP games on PS.

Last week..it was down last week. The map had a huge yellow spot in my area. It's literally almost weekly. I live in a city and have google fiber. Despite that PSN is often down here. PSN to download is also extremely slow. PSN is not worh thte 60 bucks a year but I do it to back up my saves online. I still won't forgive PSN going down in October when I was having the online match of my life in King of Fighters XIV. I was kicking all kinds of ass against a very highly ranked player. I was in the zone more than I ever have been in a fightng game. ALL of that was lost because PSN went down mid match. I am still pissed about it. Yet been able to recapture that.

Then that seems to be a problem on your side, because if PSN was actually "down" it would be down nationwide not city wise.
