Politicians take advantage of such events everywhere, don't get shocked mate.

Also just so you know, London and Manchester vote Labor. So yeah well done labor!

Any politician clamining they can stop terrorism is either a fool or a liar.

The best they can do is provide the best possible service in the form of police and hospitals etc to deal with the situation. Imo Conservatives are not the party that I believe can do that.

I agree with you that the conservative party isn't up to par. But they are infinetely better then labor.

And nah you can block away terrorism pretty easily.

 No you can't, that's a lie.

Nope mate, if you regulate what is said in Mosques, deport certain demographics, and track extremism on the internet then you elimnate all the sources of islamic terrorism within a country.

Bullshit, and that's simply a very inmoral thing to do, it sounds like an inquisition.  Freedom of religion and believe is extremely important in a truly advanced society.

Bullshit? It's not new that people aren't born as extremists, and that ones from poor socioeconomic backgrounds are more likely to move towards it.

It's not inmoral,  as a nation you don't owe anything to anyone who isn't your law abiding citizens.

Freedom of religion is irrelevant when it goes against the rights of others, and having imams preach whatever they want is illegal, just like you woudn't allow a teacher to promote murder. On top of that the 80 plus sharia courts in the UK are a contradiction of the countries common law and its judiscial precedence, secular states should not have religious courts.

People really need to listen what imams preach, even the secular ones go against forms of western culture by branding them the works of the devil.

Salman Abedi. British Citizen with Libyan roots. = seems to be the one who did it.

Correct. Born to Libyan refugees who escaped the Gaddafi regime.

2nd generation is almost always the source of these attacks.

Then follow young Mat whenever he calls,

The saddest part is, what can be done? If banning a group of people based on religion or place of origin is wrong, what else can we do? Ban guns? They use bombs, which are already illegal, or knives, or cars. Education? The majority of these attackers are homegrown, second generation. They grew up in these countries and still made their decisions. Counter intelligence? Blamed for profiling and invasion of privacy.

Nothing can be done, at least nothing that fits progressive western ethics.

Yeah, I agree. Thought policing is the only sensible way to deal with it. No way anything can go wrong with that.

Lmao what? Don't be so naive we all know who is responsible we don't even need to be told. It's obviously going to be a Muslim because it always is.

Every time something like this happens you automatically know it's a Muslim and when it's actually revealed...it's a Muslim. It's not going to some Chinese Buddhist.

Honestly it's thinking like this which creates bigger issues though, even if the person is a "muslim" he would still be an extremeist not the same at all as the 99.999999999% of people who practice the faith.

And saying you know who is responsible without knowing is a terrible way to think of the world, you should always know before you start to call out or retaliate.

The killer was revealed, his name was Salman Abedi  of Libyan descent aka he was a Muslim.

So it looks like I was right afterall to nobodies surprise whatsoever. This is exactly why we don't need to wait because everyone but the naive already knows.

The damage is already done.

Bringing in people from cultures that see women as 2nd class citizen as western culture as sinful was going to blow in the faces of western leaders.
