Those hit 10 million due to remakes, not indvidual buyers. heyre around 8 million individually probably.  Similar games in similar genres have sold far more - Witcher 3, Skyrim, Fallout, RDR and Far Cry. Zelda BOTW is an open world game similar to those (perhaps less Far cry) and I doubt it will outsell them. 

You do realize that Breath of the Wild is likely near 4 million already, right?

There's actually a good chance it can outsell those franchises, and on a significantly smaller hardware base no less.

Nice to know you understand what's good taste and bad taste, at least in gaming. Just need to carry that over into movies now.

Thanks but I'm afraid you are the one that needs to learn a lot about cinema though, I remember you saw very few movies out of the recent top 100 best movies of the XXi century that BBC did while i saw like 70 :P I also have studied audiovisuals and worked as a movie critic and a director assistant for a while... That doesn't mean my taste is better of course but... yeah, not exactly clueless either.

I don't dislike Guardians of the Galaxy 2 anyways,I just think is clearly worse than the first one, something most people and specially critics seems to agree so far, but don't worry you have potential, you have some taste in videogames, is a start.

I can agree that in the end sales are not the main characteristic that defines a niche game. The Football Manager series would be a perfect example of a niche series. It caters to very specific interests but has little competition in that field.

And nice example, I love the FM series! Definitely a niche series though, even if it's sales are actually decent and totally eclipse everything else in its genre (probably still does if you were to combine them all )

Learned English in school, videogames helped keep me interested in learning. I also did English immersion during the 6th grade (half the year only English courses and did the regular curriculum during the other half.)

It can be too silent in the wild for some, I get that, personally I enjoyed a lot the environment sounds in the nature, feels very inmerssive, but the thing is when the music does sounds is mostly very good, I don't see how can be considered a weak ost.

That's how I feel too XD The magic of Zelda really feels dead in BotW. I can't explain it either. One of the biggest changes I hate is the music. Atmospheric music is the big trend for games right now and all it does is force the composer to make generic music thats easily drowned out. There's no energy to it, it's limp

Well, I guess it depends on what type of atmosphere it's conveying. Because I love a lot of atmospheric video game music:
