*Don't rate a console that you don't currently own*
Nintendo Switch: 8/10 very capable hardware. Versatile but not enough games and features, yet. Still feels exciting and new, despite.
PS4 Pro: 9/10 a few minor but nagging issues keep it from being perfect. Still the best experience you can have with a console, right now.
Xbox One S: 8/10 great fratures and controller but the Dashboard interface has become a convoluted mess and the library currently lacks excitement.
PlayStation 4: 8/10 virtually the same hardware as the PS4 minus a couple of bells and whistles. Finally added some important features.
Xbox One: 7.5/10 Some great ideas hampered by a couple of minor issues and, again, a lackluster exclusives lineup.
Nintendo WiiU: 6/10 home to some truly legendary games but it has no future. Weaker hardware. Best web browser on a console, hands down.
Xbox 360: 7.5/10 Over ten years old and still doesn't feel outdated. Capable of offering experiences on par with some 8th gen games.
PlayStation 3: 7.5/10 The other "HD Twin". Great low priced library and some cool features. Free online!
PlayStation Vita: 6/10 follow-up to the incredible PSP. Hardware was ahead of its time but, in the end, the ultimate example of wasted potential.
New Nintendo 3DS XL: 8/10 An example of less is more. Not pretty to look at but more than makes up for it with diverse quality games. Nintendo at their finest.
Nintendo Wii: 4/10 Some classic games can't make up for this underpowered, undersupported console. Unlike the other 7th gen consoles, this one doesn't even offer online support. Dead in the water.
Nintendo DS/DSi: 5/10 A breakthrough in its day, the games are ugly and no longer impress. There's still some fun to be had despite much of the novelty being gone.
Ouya: 3/10 some fun to be had via emulation and media player. Worst controller, ever.
