Massive week 2 drop for Persona 5, but that's usual for this kind of game, they typically sell to enthusiasts, the kind who'll run out and get it day 1.

Machina mentioned on Persona 5's page that it had stock issues. Here's a screen for the lazy:

Persona 5's drop would likley be quite sharp (or at least normal) regardless of the stock shortages, but it's worth noting anyway for those who didn't see it.

Damn, since launch the Switch only sold about 3.3 million games? Seems a shit console for software.

Are we going by VGChartz numbers here, because that doesn't track digital, and a lot of games on the system are digital only at this point. (FAST RMX, Snake Pass, etc)

you know what, nevermind, the PS4 during its 1st march to mid April sold about 3.8 millon games. So it seems near ps4. But if i compare it to PS4 1st 7 weeks, the ps4 got it beat by over 6 millon games sold. And im just comparing VGC switch to VGC  PS4 so no funny stuff going on, data for both is coming from same source so could care less about digital.

Well PS4 did have more high profile games at launch and its first 7 weeks were over the Christmas holiday season.

I wonder what the excuses will be when ARMS, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade 2, Mario Odyssey, Fire Emblem Warriors, etc are all out and Zelda is still going strong.

Hm... sounds like the lost sheep has found the trail of the herd.

He's not taking your weak bait mate, just give it up!

You get cause and effect wrong: 1 game (Zelda) sold = 1 Switch sold. Switch sells because of Zelda (well, now also because of MK8D), the game does not sell because peopleget a Switch with no idea what they want with it and taking Zelda with them because they're bored or something.

Plenty of people bought the system based on the hype. Just like plenty of people bought the WiiU initially.

Yeah, sure. People buy the thing because the neighbor has one, but do not intend to play it. Sure, sure, sounds completely logical.
