I know that some people will see that title, and think I am talking about a motorcycle. No, I'm talking about a bike, as in something most 6 year olds learn to ride...

I was recently in a post about fears and phobias, and I remembered the bike thing. I was really ashamed of it when I was younger (I was "sick" when we had our biking unit every year). So I decided to close that chapter up and fix this goddamn mess. I called in sick to work today, and I kept trying until I could finally ride. It took me almost 3 hours of trying to ballence myself, but I did it, I can now ride a bike.

Well, I'm only 21 years late to the club, but I did it. I made 6 year old me proud - well at least before it ended up in the hospital for cutting its head open for falling off a bike while learning...

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

Hey, who cares how you did it? As long as you confronted your challenges, you've succeeded.

Now, go out there and learn how to ride with no hands like a true legend

Video or it didn't happen...

Congratz. I had to teach myself when I was 7. I knew how to use one with training wheels but not without. I told my parents I wanted them to teach me to use one without training wheels, they were busy and said no. So I took action in my own hands and went into my grandpas shed and took off the training wheels and taught myself by the end of the day how to ride a bike. One of my most proud moments

Better late than never, I suppose. Anyway, welcome to the club! Cycling is an excellent and cheap way to move around in a lot of cases, so it should be a useful skill too. At least I've had plenty of use for my cycling skill.

I think I was a bit late myself too, but only a bit. Apparently I kept using training wheels for a really long time, and when I finally tried it without them, I was able to do it almost straight away.

Never too late to learn, I learned that when I was 18

I think I'm alright with a bike for now

I think I learned when I was 7. Actually, I used to ride my bike a lot. Now I almost never do it.

I learned when I was 5 or 6, but havent ridden a bike in like... I dunno, 15, 17 years maybe. So I have this idea that I have to learn again. Happened with skates for example, totally "forgot" how to do it. So... Yeah, that.
