Trump Told Russians That Firing ‘Nut Job’ Comey Eased Pressure From Investigation

The funny thing about that is Kislyak acted like he was just learning about Comey being fired in the press conference that followed their meeting. Turns out that was a lie.

Should be good. Will he admit to not reporting an attempt to obstruct justice in a timely fashion or will he destroy the credibility of the New York Times?

That reminds me of the Kim Jong-Un/Obama video with the Little Apple song.

"President Trump told Russian officials in the Oval Office this month that firing the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, had relieved “great pressure” on him, according to a document summarizing the meeting."

It's not just the New York Times. Several news agencies have since independantly confirmed the existence of the Comey memo.
For example:

That means that they've probably verified that the source is indeed someone working in the FBI as it was originally reported, who would have access to a memo from Comey.
In that case the only way the contents of it could be anything other than what has been reported is if the FBI agent deliberately lied about it. And that does not seem plausible.

So either the FBI source is lying or Comey didn't report an attempt to obstruct justice. Should be juicy.
