Looks like much more potential and direction than the first game had.

What I noticed was the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal instantly reminded me of the Halo 5 gameplay reveal. Almost like they had thrown a skin on Halo 5.
The co-op feel, the constant coms communication about whats going on and where to go next, the Cabal sometimes disintegrating into tiny orange bits like the Forerunners do in Halo, the auto rifle fires and sounds just like the Halo assault rifle, some of the background music felt quite Halo like.
They also added battle tanks that look very Halo esk, there's a scene of a Death Star type device that looks like it obliterates life/worlds similar to a Halo Ring, and multiplayer has gone from 6v6 to 4v4 like Halo too.

Destiny has always had a bit of a Halo feel to it, and why not, its Bungie, but Destiny 2 looks like they're trying to go back to their roots. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I will do the same as I did with Vanilla destiny, I'll play the shit out of it then year it in she buy it again when the complete version is out 2 years later.

It looks like more Destiny. I'm sure improvement have been made but I've no real idea of how a game feels and plays when the person doing the 'example/scripted' gameplay makes it so obviously scripted. Who walked through a level? I mean really? I ran, everywhere and then shot things and ran again. I don't slowly walk, I don't wait for co-ordinated play with team mates. We kill we move.

Wish these companies would show people actually playing the game sometimes.

Also, an entire conference for a reveal? E3 is like 3 weeks away. They could have just been part of that.

And of course, no dedicated servers.....

I hope the PC version comes late, cause they are planning to incorporate the story of Destiny 1 into it (or simply putting the first game into the package). I watched the vid and it was a terrible experience, since I had no idea what they were talking about - it was all meaningless blabber. That really didn't get me hyped for the game. Let me enjoy the whole story, or don't expect me to jump in.

Really? That despite some of the most popular PC games residing there? You need it to play Starcraft II, DIablo III, World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm, and Overwatch on PC.

Congrats, you have officially experienced the story of the first game.
