I mean, yay?

I know it seems like a no win, if it's cancelled I complain and if it comes back I'm not excited.

But what game has gone through this and turned out to be amazing?

It wont be the same........
Its like asking 1 author to do half of a book, then takeing it away from him, giveing it to another to finish up.

Still if this means eventually you get the book, its better than not getting it at all.

Is this a rumor or confirmed? If it's true, it will be interesting to see how it turns out. It will be even more interesting to see how Hideki will take it. This was the game he has been wanting to make for years and it will be someone else completing it and releasing it. That's a third degree burn if there ever was one.

I would love to see the game make a come back. Alot of people including my self was really looking foward to it.

Does that make Scalebound a video game zombie?

They probably found that Scalebound trademark this month and made this up. Think of the shitstorm MS would get if they give it to other developer and it would be massive waste of money. I think Microsoft just renewed the trademark so nobody could get the IP.

It would be funny though if Phil Spencer trip to Japan was because to get every asset of Scalebound :P

The issues for Platinum had been around the engine.

MS have all the assets and most of the game in order, just a matter of getting a team in there that can optimize either the existing engine or port it over to a more flexible one, a finalize what they were set to do.

Will it be amazing? Its already going into Too Human territory now, so i suppose we can expect a divisive game at worse.
