Looking at the second graph, Switch should take a similar curve to the 3DS, but with the supply issues it probably won't follow such a steep slope. Though it's hard to tell overall. If Nintendo does increase supply like they said they will, the Switch should "easily" end up above both the PS4 and 3DS at the end of the first year.



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Looks like the Switch will play catch up to the PS4 now. It might lose week 29, but all the other weeks until week 44 are pretty much guaranteed to go to the Switch, especially with the holidays season coming up soon.

They were putting up a decent fight, Its a shame that whatever small progress they were making this year will be rendered null and void once gran turimso drops oct 17th cause the console bundles especially in europe annihilate everything its one of the very few AAA exclusive titles that can still move the needle significantly on the hardware side.

Thats ok cos switch has SMO on Oct 27th as long as Ninty keep up the supply chain
