I love Trek but no. Not going near this. Felt too much like the JJ movies among other complaints.

I had no idea this was a thing. And now i don't care it's a thing .

I'm not really a fan of sticking in the Kirk-range time line but it looks .... decent. Been too long since Trek has been on TV so I welcome it back, even if it starts out rough, they can probably build it up to something good.

Shitting all over cannon. Klingons look awful. lens flare. CBS wants me to pay. Looks worse than the fan film they put a stop to that was gioing to tell the same story. Looks too much like JJ trash.

one thing i dislike is de "im saving us, im saving all of u" worn out kind of rebellious attitude cliche thats so popular with Jar Jar abrams and in other modern hollywood flicks

For what it's worth, The Good Fight, the other show available through CBS access was renewed for a second Season a few months ago. Not sure how well it did, but it was a spin-off of a show in its 7th season that didn't do well in the ratings.

This should do much better, unless it's pirated to death.

Maybe this trailer looks halfway decent, but what I don't understand is why they just had to make it another prequel. That's just annoying, it'll either limit their freedom and imagination or create inconsistencies or likely, both. Plus no Borg. Why not just make a series that takes place after Voyager? And come up with new things, races, enemies and technologies and build upon those invented in the older series before? It being a prequel, again, seriously dampens my excitement.

Set only 10 year before TOS not sure if thats good or bad. Klingons not sure if i like the look tbh
