I really doubt Nintendo will saving stocks for later if they can sell them now, and we know they selling currently everything they can ship, that would be very bad business decision. Talking about Splatoon 2 launch, most likely buy time Splatoon 2 launches they will more units for shipping evre week and big shipment for Switch launch, especially if we know that Splatoon 2 bundle is coming.

Well i would imagine they would need an absolutely massive shipment! Splatoon is gonna be huge in Japan, judging by the COMG! thread. Preorders may even exceed Switches in the wild and knowing another game can't possibly exceed 100% attach rate, Nintendo really need to get lots of Switches out there ,in anticipation!

But that happened in the US for March for Zelda.

11k more copies sold of Zelda than Switches.

The whole Golden Week = death thing is kinda weird to me because that used to be outside of the year end holiday rush one of the bigger sales periods in Japan.

Nintendo's entire turn around in the DS-era started basically around Golden Week 2005.
