This isn't even a direct memo from Comey, it was note that was read to a reporter at the NY Times (of course) that supposedly seen this memo! So now people believe a 3rd party "note" over the acting FBI Director? Did Andrew MCCabe lie to a Senate panel? This is getting ridiculous!!   *That much we agree on, its getting ridiculous. Trump should try not to kick up any more sand.

There are so many shady investigations into trump, you got them mixed up.

Its Comey's memo's he "passed onto others/left" at the fbi when he got fired (not some 3rd party note).

Someone else at the FBI took copies of these notes and went to the press, because they believe trump to be guilty of obstruction of justice.

Its also why when trump threaten him "there better not be any tapes", he replied something like "god, I hope there are".

He knows its "his word vs the presidents" and thats probably never going to go down well.

The "only" proof he has, is the date of those notes.

If they are from the day it happend (and supposedly that very day he showed them to others), it wont just be "one angry guy fired's word vs anothers".

Thats why there is going to be a investigations and vitnesses will be questioned ect.

 

They could prove that trump did infact obstruct justice.

You dont believe that the head of the FBI made a habit of writeing down, everything he was told, whenever he met with powerfull people?

You dont believe he was told to drop the investigation? and that when he was, shocking as it was, wrote it down too? and also showed others at work?

It sounds pretty damn easy to believe imo.

What we have learned is that Comey had a habit of making memos of his meetings all the time, ever since he was a prosecutor, and he asked his staff to do the same.
So there likely are momos. But so far it hasn't been shown to the public. This reportedly came from someone in the FBI close to Comey who has seen it, because Comey supposedly circulated it among his staff to create a paper trail.

Assuming that this is true, this sounds like obstruction of justice, so it would be really bad for Trump.

It's not going anywhere because comey wrote it and not trump.

I'm sure Comey wrote everything down. I would too and I'm glad he did.

Trump could have tried to obstruct justice, however Comey should have reported it to the DOJ straight away. There's a 2 year prison sentence for not disclosing attempts to obstruct justice. Comey should have reported it at the time rather than waiting until he got fired. 

Also - it was read to the New York Times by an associate of Comey - another anonymous source. Nobody from NYT has actually seen this memo.

So probably fake news. But we'll find out some time after May 24th. Could be real but it doesn't look like it.

Trump is not doing a great job of running the Government, but the MSM seem to be making things up.

What is peach? And sorry but Israel is hell on Earth for Muslims that are already there and China and Russia will never let Israel get out of hand. Israel is one of the most oppressive regimes in the region not to its own people but to Palestinians for example and if they had the power they would be oppressing everyone around them. Israel's military is the dictionary definition of state sponsored terrorism they don't even try to hide it like the Americans do. And before I get a stupid reply about Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia and Israel are birds of a feather. Both are oppressive regimes that destabilise the entire middle east and carry out state-sponsored terrorism in different ways. Both are war criminals much like USA and Russia are and both have broken countless international laws. Saudi Arabia funds groups like Daesh and Taliban while simultaneously invading Yemen much like how Israel invades Palestine and all the innocents Israel has killed with all the carpet bombings and targeting hospitals and schools. I don't know what you believe and whether you were being sarcastic but USA, Saudia Arabia, Israel And Russia are the most dangerous nations on the face of the planet that don't care about any ideals but rather money and power and have killed countless innocents The middle eastern wars are one in which there is no good guy and all of them have blood on their hands
