Yeah, I've never seen this kind of buyers remorse in politics... and there is always lots of buyers remorse. This is just on another level. Maybe we will be lucky and trump won't make it a full 4 years... at least I can say I didn't vote for him.

Sometimes people just throw up a lot of smoke to distract you. The whole birther thing for instance. No matter how much smoke there is, sadly there needs to be a fire before action can actually be taken. Comey may just have a lighter.

Betting odds are against him making it out of 2017.
If this is true, I hope he's impeached by December. I'm going to Disney then, and I won't be able to enjoy the Hall of Presidents if Trump is in office...
All Trump has to say is, "it didn't happen."
People who hate him won't believe him and people who like him will say he's being framed by the "MSM". The Republicans aren't going to vote for impeachment unless there is so much evidence that Nixon would look innocent in comparison. That memo would have to be signed by Trump with the blood of a virgin.
Do I believe it? I have no idea. However, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. We already know that Trump has little in the way of ethics or an understanding of what a President can and cannot (or should not) do. I genuinely feel that Trump, before the election, thought that a sitting President could do pretty much anything they wanted.

Comey likely told other high ranking FBI officials, if he did they can corroborate that he came to them and told them of Trump's request.
To be honest I almost hope he doesn't get impeached, just to see how bad of a shit show he can turn the presidency into and how much of an embarrassment it will become. Could make George W. Bush look like an apetizer. On the other hand his policies stand to hurt a lot of people and damage the environment. What to choose, what to choose ...
