Is there no game where you play as a mother? (Apart from the Sims)
Google only turned up Shelter, playing as a badger doesn't count.

You can be a mother in Fable 2 if you choose the female protagonist and have a kid. If you do it during the game (and not after finishing the main quest), your family kinda comes into the story, too.
