Smells like paid marketing to me. *sniffs deeper* Yep, paid marketing.

Like this one? I don't know about you, but I am finding  way too hard to feel any smell from this link. Maybe it's legit?

I'm not going to bother clicking on your link but my answer is...maybe. I was just being sarcastic in my post anyway, should of marked it as such.

I hope the people claiming this is paid advertising are joking...I mean come on...

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Edit: Iniesta is the old guy trying to be hip and cool.

Just curious, cant old people (Iniesta is 33) be hip and cool?

Just noticed... they're all wearing the exact same clothes too... wtf.

Now that's what I call Team Chemistry!

Obviously staged.

As if anyone would play in handheld mode when there's plenty of room for tabletop.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

The funny thing is it was often argued about NS' portability but it's that element and how it's executed that is causing a lot of appeal.

It's still a question how many that are used to playing on smaller devices would adapt to the NS in the same environment. On crowded trains in Japan in for example.
What you're looking at here is a private jet for these players, with luggage and all the room and comfort they could want.

If you're at the backseat of your family's car, no problem. If you're packed up against a hundred people in the 7 AM Yamanote Line on the way to school or work, with limited space in your bag/pockets and maybe only have one hand free, then size and ergonomy becomes a much bigger concern.

Going by sales in Japan it seems many people are migrating over which indicates the ergonmics was never really much of a problem for them, under the scenario you're using as an example even a smaller device wouldn't be feasible in the situation in fact no device would. NS' portability is not as much of an issue because it's smaller than an iPad so any place a small tablet is feasible it can be used, ironically Polygon of all people explained the situation quite clearly in what's happening with the NS.

Good.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Didn't realize how big the NS was until I saw that picture in the OP.

Will wait for a smaller version.

Going by sales in Japan, for all we know every single person who bought it so far is just a WiiU owner, and not a single 3DS player. We can't even begin to draw conclusions regarding that based on sales until Switch sales have surpassed WiiU's. And to differentiate between the console players who skipped WiiU but found Switch more appealing, and 3DS crowd migrating over, we'll need to see Switch chip away at the 3DS instal base to at least a significant degree, as well as software sales of titles such as Monster Hunter or Pokemon, etc if/when they appear on Switch.
As for the example, you can play on a smartphone with one hand in a crowded train. You can fit a smartphone or a 3DS in pockets or bags with space that won't contain a larger object like Switch. For iPad situations, yes. Switch should be no problem.

The rate of sales says otherwise as Wii U owners alone wouldn't be able to make the Switch sell above both the PS4 and 3DS especially for this long after launch and neither would console players given how small that market is in Japan the amount of units moved even under your argument would be around PS4 level but NS is selling significantly above that sometimes doubling PS4 sales and in some weeks both the PS4 and 3DS combined.
