What is mixed reality about this game?
What is mixed reality?

Would you like every Xbox user to experience your design every time they use it?
Now that is a bold statement!

Anyway a job post for a team lead, this is some time away from becoming something.

Heres a video by MS explaining what Mixed Reality is.

But many people who have used the Acer Mixed Reality headset say it's just like VR.

Around the Network

VR has potential for a MMO... but you need a big user base.
First MS needs to sell a crap ton of VR headsets.

Typically MMOs go for the masses, by makeing games that everyone can run.

This is going to be a game very few can play (until MS builds up VR headset sales, user base).

Also dont trust MS at all, least of all to support a VR headset.

Welcome to the World of Cancelcraft.

Hunting Season is done...

In concept, that sounds awesome and I'm all for it but has there been a recent brand new MMO that has found real success? I can think of FFXIV and Guild Wars 2 but those are essentially sequels to already popular MMOs.

Just glad it's also on PC for me to try out if it ever comes out.

343 Industries head Dan Ayoub, who’s been with the series since Halo: Reach, has left to join Microsoft’s Mixed Reality team.

In a statement from 343 Industries on his departure, the studio said that, “Although Dan will be staying in the Microsoft family, and won’t be heading too far, our 343 family will miss his wit, wisdom and effort throughout the years. But Halo Wars 2 and its forthcoming DLC are in the safe hands of Dan’s team, with some wonderful DLC and other surprises still to come.”

“Over the years, Dan has helped us work with amazing studios and partners from literally every corner of the globe. They, like us are going to miss him, and Dan wanted us to express his thanks to both those partners, and to all the Halo fans and community who’ve been the fuel and fire that have ignited his passion and ambition, throughout the years.”

How will that influence future Halo games, especially when 343 Industries has admitted to narrative problems in Halo 5: Guardians? Let us know your thoughts in the comments.
