First off, lay off the left leaning CNN. You are never going to get a reliable story from them. Also, what are you talking about? And what lies are you referring to?

Basically, Trump fired the FBI director who is leading an investigation into Trump's ties with Russia, right after Comey reportedly asked for more funds for the investigation. The White House explained this action by saying that Trump fired him based on the advice of Jeff Sessions (who had to previously recuse himself of any dealings with the Russia investigation because he lied under oath about not meeting with Russian officials), and Rosenstein, with the reasoning that Comey was too mean to Hillary in 2016 in how he handled the case with her emails. Something both Trump and Sessions praised Comey for multiple times.

Now today, Trump said in an interview that he would have fired Comey anyway, regardless of what Sessions and Rosenstein said in the letter. Which is the opposite of what the White House claimed.

But where is the lie?

Sorry, but my "left leading CNN viewing" points were trying to say that but obviously not as well. :)

What basically happened yesterday was the hand was just used as a significant source of "credibility" to fire the arm(Comey, head of FBI).

Then the fingers(Vice pres, various secretaries, press secretaries) got involved and all said the same thing which was that the hand and the thumb(Jeff Sessions(Attourney General)who's under investigation of the same investigation that people increasingly closer and closer to the (shoulder)president Trump and the assistant attourney general(Rod Rosenstein)  had the "right" to fire the arm even though the arm was in charge of an EXTREMELY serious investigation to the AG(Sessions) AND the Shoulder(Trump).

THEN the Shoulder(Trump) said he fired the Arm(Comey) on his own(completely going against and making all the fingers BIG.FAT.LIARS).

What this amounts to?  Trump owns the Attourney General's office with Sessions and Rosenstein(Obviously).  Sessions should have absolutely no right to even discuss Comey as he's part of a serious FBI investigation. I

think Trump finally (or someone less senile)realized how absolutely dumb that would sound if he said that Sessions fired the guy investigating him but the memo went out to all the mouth pieces(Vice President, press secretaries etc etc) late so they all told the truth about Sessions and Rosenthal being used to fire Comey.

Trump, being the mans man he thinks he is then changed the story to him hating Comey since day one which was a LIE unless his previous comments of his respect and liking Comey were lies.

Sorry I know this is all convoluted but what happened(beside Trump lying after the fact) is that a guy was sort of fired by people who had no right to fire him(Sessions shouldn't even be within a country mile of this and Rosenthal being in a position of being too weak of an opinion to use).

Since Trumps two sources of "advice" were weak or tainted, one of Trumps deep thinkers said (too late) "Uhhh, Donald, you umm can't use Sessions(tainted)and Rosenthal(like using the fry guy at mcdonald's opinion to fire the general manager). You need to come out, say you're like like...ummm...The Duke...yes you're like John Wayne and went all cowboy on this decision to dump Comey DESPITE all the kiss kiss hug hug lovya you've done since before you were even the president or you're going to look corrupt!

People need to remember something.  Comey doesn't actually investigate anything. All he did was LEAD the FBI in an administrative role. The information he passed to congress was generated bu the MASSIVE number of investigators under him.

That said, it is EXTREMLY improper for there to be Russia stamped all over this and the director is canned for what amounts to something that got Trump his job.(the 10 day "we're back to investigating her" bullshit.

For the love of god, just look at how every single underling of Trump gave the same story which was COMPLETELY different than his.  Either his whole party is lying or he is.  Sorry but I'm going with the past. The President of the United States just lied about him being the one to decide Comey's fate.

Time to drop the crap. Let's talk about video games.

Spied on?  By who, the cockroaches skittering around in his diseased mind?  A Judge MUST agree to a wiretap and they never would have. Comey said this was insane and oh look he got fired.

Second, this is a political forum. Go comment on games somewhere else because what just happened isn't even hidden.  A complete lie was just told by the guy leading your country. He just dropped a MOAB because it had never been dropped and he just dropped another one on the truth in front of the world.

I wouldn't say it's a lie, because it can't be proven that it's more than misinformation.
But it is a contradiction, and someone was likely not truthful.

White House: Trump only fired Comey because of Sessions and Rosenstein's recommendation.
Trump: I would have fired him regardless of what they said.

It sounds like there may be a communication problem between Trump and his staff on their messaging.
And it's especially surprising that after his staff tried to shift the blame from Trump to the other two, because the only other time something like this happened was when Nixon tried to fire the people investigating him, Trump just goes out and admits that it was his idea.

All of Trumps people INCLUDING the Vice President said he was fired based on the AG and AAG's advice.  A sane person would look at that, see a whole potential for corruption given that the AG is under investigation for corruption yet he was part of the process of firing the guy investigating him so SOMEONE higher in Trump's circle said, "LOOK. You just used a bunch of tainted people to justify his firing. You can't DO that Mr President because it's going to look even MORE shady than burning your own Vice President/secretaries who ALL said it was the AG/AAG that made up your mind.

Consequently HIS story and everyone else who spoke from his office ARE ALL DIFFERENT.  This isn't even convoluted. Even if you don't want to take the word of all the other people who are SUPPOSED to be reporting what the President says, The Vice President saying a COMPLETELY different story from the President alone should be liighting congress on frigging FIRE.

Trump is in charge of the United States to answer your question.

That Sessions, who had to recuse himself of any involvement in the Russia investigations, was one of the people who suggested to fire the person investigating him for ties with Russia, is perhaps the most bizarre thing here when it comes to transparacy. What did they expect people would think about that?
Was Sessions desperate to get rid of Colmey immediately for some reason, to the point where he doesn't even care that it looks extremely suspicious? Or was it that Trump, not understanding this, insisted that Sessions gets involved?
Reports are saying that it was Trump who asked those two to draft up reasons to fire Comey.

I can't get my mind around it. You would have thought that Trump would have had everyone involved somehow connected and advising and trying to make this so it didn't look like a big pile of bull crap. That or he did and then someone Trump trusts got involved and told him that it would look like a completely coverup if he involved AG Sessions in anyway with the decision. Taking sessions out put Assistant Attourney General as the only untainted guy Trump could usw which wouldn't be nearly enough reason. The fact that AAG Rosenstein was involved at all makes me think that they added him to some how make the fact AG Sessions was used cleaner. Like both of them were on the same page so whatever Sessions said was good despite him being involved with this Russian fiasco.

To me, the fact that Trump burned Pence and all this people HAS to be seen by SOMEBODY as seriously messed up.

The one in charge is the one that lied and the gullable voted for.

Which lie was that again? I keep hearing this lie yet no one can seem to explain it!

Yet people still defend this orange bastard. Sad. Do you have no respect for America anymore that you are so filled with malice and stupidity to see past this terrible administration and president?

Where to start eh? When the man lies more than he tells the truth. Most recent the FBI director fireing justification. But here, have a list. It took me seconds to google lots of them.
