Thought I'd post this, not exact numbers but this was the best prediction over at NeoGAF on Hardware numbers: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=236288532&postcount=162
[NSW] 312k
[PS4] 209k
[XB1] 126k

Apparently some people did the math and PS4 > 200k and XB1 < 128k http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=237983610&postcount=376

We also have confirmation that April 2017 was the best April for PS4 since it's release. The previous best April for the PS4 was April 2014, 199k PS4 units were sold in that month. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=238037259&postcount=386

Yay, near-concrete numbers for once!

So NPD summary for the year so far? Home consoles

I get

Jan:

PS4-210k
XB1-157k

Feb:

PS4- 400k
XB1- 210k

March:

PS4- >405k
XB1- >237k
Switch- >906k

April:

PS4- 213k
XB1- 127k
Switch- 280k

Total:

PS4- >1.228m
XB1- >731k
Switch- 1.186m

Overall PS4 is up around 8% YoY and XB1 down 5% YoY.

XB1 has had a constant trend of doing poorly in the first 1/4 and 1/3 of the year and it only has gotten worse.

XB1 2014: ~826k ($500 kinect SKU)
XB1 2015: ~842k
XB1 2016: ~767k
XB1 2017: >731k

XB1 April 2016 = 167.6K
MoM % = -30.6%

XB1 March 2017 > 237K
XB1 April 2017 = 127K
MoM % = -46.4%

That's weird.

VG numbers are completely different from Gaf.

Vgchartz numbers for US with 1 week to go in April are

NSW-1.09m

PS4-1.08m

XBO-820k

If the NPD estimates by Gaf are correct than NSW is pretty close to accurate (should be since we have actual data for it), PS4 is undertracked by ~100k and XBO is overtracked by ~100k.

If true then ps4 is on a serious role this year.  Up YOY while xbox is down.  Best April ever for the console too.  This thing will sell insanely well at $199.

I don't know what assumptions can be made for the rest of the world.

But surely their strategy isn't working out that well for XB1 at least, who knows with windows.

So is XB1 officially the 3rd wheel of console gaming?

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut
