Oh you must be one of those touchy Nintendo peeps that thinks everything said about Nintendo that's not glowing praise is a diss on them.

I simply pointed out how now we started getting numbers from them again.... And I personally find it funny (literally funny) when any company (not just nintendo) does what Nintendo is doing now or what ND tends to do. But that's another matter.

Nintendo always gave Wii U numbers, what are you even talking about?

so nintendo had been giving wiiU number sin the last year? ok. got you.....

I wish we had P5 and Nier Auto numbers

I'm surprised you have to ask that.

Of course I have to ask. Nintendo makes more money from first party games than from third party games where they only get a comparably small royalty fee.

Part of the reason, perhaps the largest reason the Wii U flopped was lack of 3rd party support. Lack of 3rd party is a reason the Switch is guaranteed ro sell less than the ps4

persona is not niche anymore.people are finally buying exclusives on ps4.

Pretty happy "Persona 5" is #2 on the list without includeing digital sales into it.

Im guessing its 400k+ physical sales alone, in april for the US.

This is the thing... how many millions of units lifetime wise does a game need to sell, to not be considered Niche anymore?

Its interesting to see that Black Ops II has made the top 10 games sold due to its addition to the backward compatibility listing for 360 games on Xbox One.

Xbox 360 and Xbox One

Thought I'd post this, not exact numbers but this was the best prediction over at NeoGAF on Hardware numbers: http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=236288532&postcount=162
[NSW] 312k
[PS4] 209k
[XB1] 126k

Apparently some people did the math and PS4 > 200k and XB1 < 128k http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=237983610&postcount=376

We also have confirmation that April 2017 was the best April for PS4 since it's release. The previous best April for the PS4 was April 2014, 199k PS4 units were sold in that month. http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showpost.php?p=238037259&postcount=386

Just means that PS4 continues its streak of being up YoY in US and Japan. It might be down simultaneously in Europe, but in US and JP it has been doing well.

The gap between PS4 and XB1 this year seems to be 400-500k already.

This also means the NES Classic sold >209k as well and is not in the total hardware numbers.

According this user, he determined that the PS4 sold around 213K and the XB1 sold around 127K. The numbers do work when you look at the Top 3 predictors. He also estimated that YTD, the PS4 is up YOY by 8.4% and the XB1 is down YOY by 4.8%.

You have no idea what you are talking about. After all, you predicted 20m lifetime for the Switch. This tremendous failure is reason enough to re-evaluate everything you believe.

True. I will have to raise my estimation of switch to less than half whatever ps4 does, the question is how much will the ps4 sell? More than ps1, perhaps more than ps2? unlikely
