Why are people bringing in Apple, Google, Facebook, etc? Since when are they gaming networks?

Xbox Live growth seems to be really good. The future is very bright indeed.

During this briefing MS said Xbox is a multi-billion dollar business, very profitable, and becoming more and more profitable. Is this the first time they've ever actually said the brand is profitable? I can't remember any other time. Either way, seems very bright indeed. I know it won't, but plans like this really should shut up the people claiming Microsoft is just about ready to sell the division off of something.

As for the part about biggest network people are getting hung up on, it doesn't say it on this DualShockers link but other articles you read about it make it out like he meant in terms of revenue, which he further clarified by pointing out XBL makes far more money than the other networks. Nice to see Live is paying off for them, it was a gargantuan investment and revolutionized online gaming on consoles. Sony and Nintendo have been trying to catch up ever since and have now both even adopted the pay to play strategy after seeing how it prints money for Xbox.

For those claiming Steam is bigger. Steam is a massive app when it comes to game libraries and Users that's it. Live is more than just games, its the bigger network. Steam also doesn't supply dedicated servers. Give credit where credit is due. I am a Steam gamer yet Live is superior on many fronts. Steam is the best when it comes to cheap prices and the store.

Congrats to MS and there Live Network. Its only going to get bigger.

Name five PSN features that XBL doesn't have.

1. Shareplay

2.

3.

4.

5.

Shareplay,

Remoteplay with smartphones

Game streaming to select TVs/Blu-ray's,

Wait you need more than 1 to count as more features?

Yes because I can name different features that XBL has that PSN doesn't.

I don't see anything wrong with what was stated. I get on my Xbox and talk to my friends on Xbox and PC simultaneously. You can't do that with Steam, PSN, or whatever Nintendo calls there online network. I can be playing Destiny while another friend is playing League of Legends and someone else is just watching Youtube. I believe this is what they're talking about.

Love the product, not the company. They love your money, not you.

sometimes microsoft talks way too much.this e3 is a big test for xbox.are they going to show 2 or 3 new AAA exclusive ips?is a new forza and halo going to be announced?is fable making a return?is vr going to work with xbox1?all these questions should be answered this e3.and i hope they don't release sot, crackdown 3 during holiday because they are going to be destroyed by all the huge AAA games.but right now i think they are gonna release those games during holidays no matter what which is a dumb move.give those games some breathing room and release them during non holiday season.
