Forums - Microsoft Discussion - Microsoft CEO: “Xbox Live Is the Biggest Gaming Social Network;” Talks “Connecting the Dots Around Gaming”

During Microsoft’s Financial Analyst Briefing 2017 in Seattle, Chief Executive Officer Satya Nadella talekd about the company’s gaming business.

According to Nadella, gaming is one of the first places where Microsoft brought all of its assets together. Gaming for Microsoft is a much broader thing than just the Xbox business.

Nadella mentioned that Xbox Live is the biggest gaming social network, and monetizes far more than any other gaming social network.

Xbox Live growth seems to be really good. The future is very bright indeed.

Good job Microsoft! Xbox Live really is the best place to play!

It isn't Lmao

More PR bullshit, PSN makes double the money of Xbox Live and Steam is also much bigger than Live.

Keep it up Microsoft Lmao

Bigger than Steam? Okay

There's only 2 races: White and 'Political Agenda'
2 Genders: Male and 'Political Agenda'
2 Hairstyles for female characters: Long and 'Political Agenda'
2 Sexualities: Straight and 'Political Agenda'

Damn. I wished I had caught and posted this article earlier. It would have made me look less bias.

I don't know if it's true or false. I play on consoles. One thing is for sure--i interact with people a lot more on Xbox than on other consoles.

Valve, Sony, and possibly Google and Apple might have something to add to this remark. Maybe Google and Apple can be dismissed at not really being social networks, but Steam and PSN are impossible to ignore since they both have extensive social features.

Hmmm.....something doesn't add up.

I wouldn't say bigger in number compared to the likes of Steam, Google, Facebook etc, but I think you could say MS has more networks going on than the others. I mean I don't recall Steam having a Steam Chat network that's separate from the Steam client (because it's actually built in), as well as Steam's separate version of Skye (again their own chat is built in and they didn't buy another client like MS did), you get the gist of what I'm saying.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

I mean, I'm pretty sure Steam would disagree and this sounds like rhetoric to put some positive news for the Xbox brand. I'm not sure if the future is so bright, even with Scorpio, Xbox has begun to fall more and more into relative obscurity. They are gonna need to bring it in E3
