If a Switch graphics satisfy you, there is zero reason for you to think only PS4Pro will do. Besides that the difference in price between regular and Pro is 100USD so it isn't massive.

A Switch satisfies me as a portable console, but if I have to stay in front of my TV to enjoy games, I'd rather have beautiful graphics.

But as many said here, if there is really little differences between PS4 Slim and Pro, I'd rather buy a regular PS4. I tought Uncharted 4 and Horizon were only beautiful with the PS4 Pro.

I don't know if we can say they are minimal (depends of the person taste); but PS4 already have great graphics, PS4Pro just improve that some. Unless you are playing outside of your house what added benefit does the portability give you that you have no issue sacrificing graphics? But if you have to look at a TV then graphics become so important?

Nintendo don't play the "best graphics" card, but Sony does. I loved to play Uncharted 3 because of how beautiful they created some places like the forest in France or the city in Syria. When I play on a Nintendo Console, I want all the feelings the level design and gameplay of Super Mario games give to me. But when I play on a Sony Console, I want to be amazed by the beautiful environements, like the real ones in Uncharted or the ones created from the ground, like God Of War.

I don't play on a Sony console the way I play on a Nintendo console. That's why I buy both. I have a Wii and a PS3 at home. And I will have a Switch and a PS4 soon.

It's funny you say that because 1st, what the company says doesn't affect your like or dislike for the game. Second I don't remember Sony ever bragging about being the best graphics, but what they have used to improve their graphic output and that they value cinematics and story telling.

I understand why you play, but it's strange to like Nintendo game without being bothered with graphics to then be deterred on not having PS4Pro to play Sony games.Again, the problem were more on you saying you are a Sony fanboy that can't find 5 good games on PS4 but already found on Switch.

No, it's not. They don't sell the same thing.

And I will always buy a Sony Xperia phone (like I did since 2011), watch a Sony Bravia TV and buy a Sony headset to listen my music. And use my PS3 to read blu-ray discs. But for now, I don't want (and can't afford) a PS4 right now. It doesn't stop me being a Sony fanboy just because I don't own one product.

And I didn't wanna mention it earlier but I also want to buy a PS VR, and I know it's better with the PS4 Pro.

UC4 and Horizon still both look excellent on a standard PS4, the Pro just runs them at a higher resolution (at least that's what Sony's 1st parties opt to use the extra power for). It's mostly aimed at people with 4k TVs.

If you're fine with 1080p, then a standard PS4 will do you fine. If you own or plan on buying a 4k TV, then a Pro is worth considering.

Eeeeeer what is the relevance of being a Sony fanboy of their non-gaming products on a game forum?

I like PSVR and it is better on PS4Pro. But if you are on a budget as you said best option is to just buy a PS4 for under 250 and save the rest for PS5 with PSVR2 instead of forquing additional 550 USD. To me it was a worth expenditure, but the gap isn't that sensible and there isn't that much good content to VR, altough I would appreciate all the customer base to push VR.

He does have a 55"4K... some games (sony as well) use some extra CPU for smoother framerate.

Looks like VGC have PS4 tracking down packed if you consider official recently released shipment figures, nice work guys.

It could be worse, since there are probably at least 1.5 million PS4 units on the shelves. So its probably a million units undertracked. It's hard to count PS4 units being sold outside Europe, North America and Japan.

Please excuse my (probally) poor grammar

I think it wont have such a great Holidays Season in USA and Japan.
There is new xbox + switch in USA - i think those gonna be the hottest products of the December.
Japan is now moving to switch. The last bastion is Europe, impact of the new xbox and switch will be smaller here, but still recognisable.
For me 2017 is the last year when PS4 gonna sell more than 15 million system.
