Fine, fine, I should have said bell peppers! We just call them green peppers around here because that's what most people seem to use. Honestly, though, red peppers are more acceptable in food because the taste isn't as bitter. I don't exactly like red bell peppers but if they're cut up small in some type of dish then I barely notice them. I notice the taste of green bell peppers no matter what.

Some tomatoes are plain and boring for sure but sweet, sun ripened tomatoes are great! Apart from having them in a salad you can slice them and have on a sandwich or with mozzarella and olive oil, or you could put them on the grill.
And good tomatoes makes for a really delicious gazpacho!

Agreed... tomatoes on it's own is disgusting.
