It's not as if where VGC places a console on their home page chartz decides what generation it's in, so talks of "oh it's [blank] generation, so that wouldn't make any sense!" aren't necessary. The only use for VGC's homepage chartz is to easily see current sales trends and since the Wii U has no current sales trends, it doesn't matter.

cool idea to place it between consoles and handhelds, it's pretty much right where it should be, would fuck with the bars on either side though, which ones do you adjust since they would all need to be on the same scale then.
