There is Berlin Neukölln.

You've forgotten Berlin Kreuzberg and Berlin Wedding.

Those are just smaller islamic border countries.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

There is still the possibility of them in becoming the United Islamic States of Berlin (short UISB).

It's slowly growing:

pretty much any time a Government wants to stop their population from education of themselves or to control the media that they can see.. you know that they are villains then. There is nothing more devastating to a group of people than limiting their ability to learn.

On the other hand, the US has full access to the internet and still, Trump is president.

hmm that must mean isn't a dictatotr after all. who would of thought that, all the power in the world and he isn't abusing it. Hmmmm. What a great leader. Spent the least amount to get there too. Great for America

I don't get the comparisons with Trump, if he fails he's out next election I can't see this happening in Turkey.

Trump actively attacks your media.
Trump is far-right wing just like this dictator.
Trump supports "alternative" news which has zero citations or evidence.

Big deal. Teachers all over the world have been banning billions of students from using Wikipedia for over a decade now. But as soon as a dictator does it once everyone is losing their minds.

Wikipedia is as accurate as the citations that the Articles were built from.
Some of the citations were pretty grey and that brought down some of the articles.

Sadly, your average pundit doesn't even understand what a citation is, let alone check it for their school work.

Wikipedia is still a great source of information and shouldn't be shunned, people just need to learn to use it properly, that's all.

I'd say Malaysia and Indonesia both take the crown here.

Indonesia is a bit iffy. They are my neighbours. And they aren't always nice.

Malaysia and Indonesia are not great countries for christians.

Indonesia has some shining areas that are great for Christians, such as Bali.

One should at least mention WHY the turkish government is blocking Wikipedia, how they justify it.

There is really no justification for blocking the right to protest, speech, expression, journalism, information. etc'. It's dictatorship mentality, plain and simple... The irony is, Turkey was always a shining example for Islamic states to aspire towards.

You don't have to agree with someone's opinion (Whether it is a wikipedia article or not...) but their right to said opinion should always be respected even if they are incorrect, you win people over with debate, facts, reason, logic. Not by shutting their voice down.

There have been some stupidly terrible democratically elected presidents/prime ministers across the planet, most tend not to block the flow of information/opinion.

While Islam is a thing, these middle eastern countries will be costantly doomed to dictatorship and regressiveness.

Africa will one day out develop the middle east at this pace, if it isn't already. The middle east is stuck in the religious trap. 400 years of getting in the back of the bus wasn't enough yet, it seems.

Wasn't that just to show support for Turkey after terror attacks, how is that a sign of anything? They projected the flag of France in solidarity too.

There are many countries today doomed to dictatorship that aren't Muslim so not sure what Islam has anything to do with it. Without Islam there wouldn't be Western civilization today, everything we have today is thanks to the Islamic Golden Age.

Also half of Africa is Muslim.

They can just use the dark web, they'll be fine. No eay to track that shit

It's already half better than the middle east. :D

Religion has everything to do with opression and limitation on education and development. It keeps people dumb and liable to sugestion and sedated from rising up in fear of "holy" repercussions.

It's a great tool for domination of the masses. It uses a fear they have against them and releases the guilt from doing unspeakable acts in it's name.

It is quite literally the devil's work... if he existed.
