Forums - Gaming Discussion - Prey for the Gods gets a new Name following Bethesda Dispute

Hopefully the name change doesn't hurt the game upon release, what with the name sound weird and all.

Zen can be tightwads when it comes to naming, so this doesn't surprise me at all.

its literally the same title but with an extra letter. It will have no effect whatsoever on how the game does. As it is, "Prey for the Gods" is sort of not obvious what type of game it is unless you've seen footage. Everyone will read it the exact same way regardless though

I really dislike Zenimax. In fact, I've disliked Zenimax for a good while now, and this just reinforces my feelings. I understand why Zenimax does this, but come on, not many others in the game industry seem to do it, and I bet it's not really a problem.

yeah, Zenimax doesn't seem like the friendliest of companies. They're lucky they have such beloved IPS in Fallout and the Elder Scrolls, otherwise they'd probably get more shit at times. The irony is that one of their biggest franchises, "Fallout", was awarded to them in a legal dispute in the first place basically because the former owner agreed to a collaboration and then sat on the IP. Zenimax through and through has had plenty of legal moves to get where they are today....

Ignore this, wrong thread.
