So what are your favorite cars from the 80s.  Here is my top 10 and a few honorable mentions.

1.  1984 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Probably still the most iconic Peugeot ever build.  Only 200 where made and its the base car for the goup b rally car.

2. 1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird Even rarer then the 205 since only 29 offically where made its top speed is 211 it was the world fastest production car at the time.

3. 1987 Porsche 959 First supercar made by Porsche first one with four wheel drive and also was a base car for a group b rally car.

4. 1987 Ferrari F40 The best Ferrari supercar of the 80s.

5. 1984 Ferrari 288 GTO Another Ferrari supercar and the first one since the 1966 250LM.

6. 1984 Ferrari Testarossa Pretty much the best looking Ferrari from the 80s.

7. 1985 Toyota Spriter Trueno GT Apex Legendary drift car.

8. 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) My favorite Skline from the 80s even though I think Skylines/GT-R's are a bit overrated.

9. 1988 Pontiac Fierro GT First and only mass produced mid engine American sports car should have been more popular and stuck around as long as the Toyota MR2.

10. 1987 Buick Grand National GNX Best car based on the GM G-body.

Honorable Mentions:

1982 DeLorean DMC-12 Could have been better engine wise but still is a automotive style icon.

1985 Alfa Romeo GTV Callaway Twin Turbo.  Car that put Callaway on the map as a tuner and coustom car builder.

1986 Lancia Thema 8.32 Ferrari powered Lancia.

1987 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Best of the fox body Mustangs.

1983 Audi Sport Quattro First practical four wheel drive car also base car for a groub rally car.

1989 Mercedes Benz Team Sauber C9 Legendary Mercedes Benz racing car.

If this gets enough replies I probably make threads for my favorite cars from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 90s, 00s and current decade.

With the exception of the few Porsches and F40 you already listed, the only other car from the 80's I like is the 1986 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV. TBH though the 80's decade is probably responsible for most of the ugliest cars ever.

I think you got somewhat of a point but suprisingly there are only 14 cars from the 80s on this ugliest cars of all time list.

Its not a very good list though since probably only 1/3 of the cars listed are really ugly.  Plus they missed the most ugly Ford Thunderbird on that list that would be the 1967 Ford Thunderbird its has a hideous front end.  Plus it was available as a four door car which is just wrong for a Thunderbird.

Meh, the 2010 also has a bunch of generic looking cars.  Plus there are still some ugly cars being made like the Nissan Juke, Acura ZDX, Nissan Cube, Mercedes Benz G-Class.  Plus the list of the 100 Ugliest Car of All time has the 2014 Lamborghini Veneno at the top of the list.
