I think you should either return the console because the games releasing on it are probably not for you or accept what you have purchased and try and be a bit more positive and not compare it to consoles you are looking at with nostolgia glasses. Everyone states how many games the PS4 released with but for me personally there were only a few decent games and with that selection there was nothing that i find memorable as an experience in the early months. I even remember my PS4 collecting dust after the inital launch because of the lack of good games to play.  

You saying it's dry bone pickings is not factual but opinionated, i personally have been loving my switch and the games that have been releasing on it (currently own 20 games on the thing). In saying that i can undertstand how not every game that is released on the switch is for everyone. Saying Mario Kart is a 30 is acutally crazy and is not subjective as a 30 game should be unplayable. This game is not unplayable, but i can understand why you dont enjoy it. 

Rather than posting nonsensical troll posts complaining about other people enjoying something that you don't. just return or sell the product you dont like. :)

I bought a switch mainly to play zelda botw and I thought it was over-rated - good game, sure, and it has a beautiful art style but I don't agree with with a lot of the rave reviews... so I'm not surprised about mario kart.

After I bought a switch to play zelda, I definitely thought it wasn't worth the purchase... but at least I have a portable gaming system that I can use, and I can play the dozen or so nintendo games that will release on the system (and it's doubtful that the price will change much over the next 12 - 18 months).

Hopefully the system gets some standout games though -- mario odyssey does look like a lot of fun and different to anything  that you could play on other systems.
