You want proof or someone to play MK with? :P

I played MK8 on WiiU, and I believe 88/100 for WiiU version on metacritic is accurate enough, at least from my experience. Tho I would give like a 84 or some.
It was pretty fun to play.

Think the general feelings here is disbelief that this user has bought the system based on what he wrote and based on the fact that if he asked anyone their opinion of if he should buy it, they would likely tell him not to since it sounds like he has issues with the company to begin with and it would have been a waste of his cash and the GBASP he traded in for it.

Also if he thinks all the tracks in MK are the same I doubt he would make for a great person to play it with :D just sayin

Since he seems to be a PSV fan. You are in luck Leo-J, on top of actual good games and great 1st party support, Switch will also usurp most of the former Japanese 3rd party PSV support, so you´ll likely have something to play on "your" Switch going forward. The same with indie-support. One of the most prolific PSV supporters namely KoeiTecmo is pretty much onboard and SquareEnixs support also started way stronger.

Just get Zelda.

I don't know why this is a problem but this sounds like a godsend to me. The other consoles are filled with useless junk I'll never ever use. This includes the 3DS. On my PS4 the first thing I did when we could make folders was make one named "Trash" and threw in everything that wasn't a video-game never to look at it again.

Okay so I see my post has caused a bit of an uproar here on vgchartz, I admit I played mk8 a bit more.
Last night against a couple people online and I enjoyed racking up points towards my overall ranking in the online space, and the variety in tracks that weren't limited to Grand Prix preselected courses. So my opinion has changed a bit, I've had the system for a couple days..... I'm just upset about it not being what I originally wanted maybe? Or maybe I did come into it with a bias? I dunno, I was really excited about buying one....

Fyi I didn't trade in my 3ds or vita..... I impulsed bought the last switch at Walmart.... and did not hesitate to get MARIO kart 8 over zelda.... because of my coming into this as a fun party machine to play with friends locally, vs playing by myself and relying on online social interaction..... not to say the PS4 doesn't have fun local multiplayer, but I can't exactly bring people over since they are busy.... but I'm finding that might be the case with the switch as well with my group of friends atm..... and my post is a little baity and Ranty, which I apologize for ..... but it was my initial impression, that has changed a bit after playing online last night ..... but not enough for me to change the post

You got 200 dollars trade in for a GBA SP? You wouldn't even get that when it launched. This seems a bit weird...

Years ago when you made these type of threads I figured it was due to age. You aren't a kid anymore man. Grow up. Hopefully you actually own a Switch. The last time you did this you didn't even own the console in question.

Maybe share your ID with users here, then you have plenty people to play with and that will be fun for sure. Well, if you really own a Switch and don't only have a username you created on the Switch of your neighbour or something like that.

Not really sure what the problem with MK8's track diversity is in your opinion. You have tracks in snow, with water, made out of sweets, in space and around lava. Some feel like a normal race track, some are crazy and like a roller coaster.

I mean, if that isn't diversity what do we get in other race games?
