Forums - Gaming Discussion - Hardest game you've ever beaten?

The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth as The Lost. It's a whole lot easier in Afterbirth as you can get Holy Mantle as a starting item. But without that it's insanely hard. And you have to do it at least three times to get dat platinum trophy, Pure madness I tell you! But I did it. I died at least 1,000 times while trying, but I did it. =P

Probably some NES game...Zelda 2, TMNT, the Mega Mans...nothing legendarily difficult like Double Dragon 3, Ghosts & Goblins, or Ninja Gaiden.

I completed Diddy Kong Racing, but I could not beat Donkey Kong Country 2.

Modern Warfare on Veteran was brutal especially that last mission in the plane gawd.

Fun fact, the guy who owns my local game store was missing this achievement and he made a challenge that whoever managed to get him it got £20 credit to spend on whatever they liked.

Each person got one turn and had to pass the controller. I went 4th, did it first try.

I'm now an in-store legend.

i dunno, maybe donkey kong country tropical freeze.

So, what'd you buy with that money?

Metro 2033 Redux on the hardest difficulty was also a bit insane at some parts.

That's the one that basically makes Artyom die with one or two hits, removes all HUD elements and pray you find ammo, right?

Basically, I recall having to spam my med shots a lot, and spamming E to grab mask filters. xP

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

The first Castlevania. I'm also in the process of Speedrunning ALBW, but all my attempts have lost to the Dark World. I plan on getting the Souls games someday.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.
