I haven't beaten it yet but Fallout 4 in Survivor. I have never felt so fragile and terrified to wonder than on Survivor. Ghouls can (and have) 1 shot me even with mediocre armor and with everything having weight and no options of fast travel (outside of Brotherhood vertibird), it's a test of endurance and caution. I stealth and snipe everything I can cause everything is deadly.

I just did a 1CC run on Last Duel. Took many attempts.
For those unaware it's a late 80s Capcom arcade shmup. Not an easy game.

Trials Fusion.
I was ranked top 5k in the world because that's how many people were able to beat those final levels haha probably more by now.

Flame lurker was my favourite boss fight. I literally jumped up from my couch and fist pumped when I beat him on melee combat. Best gaming feeling and moment ever!! Demon's Souls made you care sooooo much about your character's life. Your character's life meant so much to you because it took you back so far. It almost felt like your real life was interlocked with the character's. Other souls games are fun, but I care less about my character's life. Bloodborne is the only other Souls-ish game which is as satisfying as the origin Demon's Souls.

Recent Ninja Gaiden games were rough when even the base enemies could one shot you. Definitely some grumbling on the way to beat those.
