Forums - Gaming Discussion - Any developer/publisher reactions since Nintendo gave out the sales numbers?

I'm curious if guys like the Rocket League developers have any reactions to the pretty good sales numbers for the first month?

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Why? Almost every system sells well the first few weeks.
Lets see how it does after 6 months.

In a developer's eyes its.
2.6mill vs 60+ mill

Developers aren't near as simple as that

Nah they are that simple that is why we still have games for the playstation 2 being made right now, instead of any new console. Anyways this is off topic regardless.

To answer the op, right now I have not heard much in terms of developers speak, they usually do not talk soon after launch like that, but you might hear stuff from E3.

It's not that simple. Demographic plays a part. A consoles features.  Switch being portable helps the systems case. I have the physical version of Rocket League on PS4 but I would double dip to have it on the go in a heartbeat.

Rocket League developers made a reaction video of them jumping around, and crying in amazement when they found out how much the Switch has sold.

They're even turning Rocket League Switch exclusive.

Those sales numbers aren't particularly impressive.
Not even in comparison with other Nintendo system

Believe in Nintendomination, cause it sold out everywhere at least in JP & US

If the machine has more stock than it will sold even more

Launch record for Nintendo system in US, Australia, and many European countries.......yep not impressive for a Nintendo console.

How does that even make sense?? Switch first month was EXTREMELY impressive, period. And considering it is still sold out in most parts of the world now almost two months in that makes it even more impressive. Switch will probably have 5 million sold by end of June.
