This could be an epic 6 or 7 game series with the Cavs expected to win their home games.

That was a top 10 worthy finals performance and realistically he should have been only the second player on loosing team to win the finals MVP 2015 the only reason he didn't get is because the series only went six games.

Even if it went 7, I feel like todays sports media is so rigid in their thinking, they probably still wouldn't have given it to him. He easily deserved to win it though.

And ya, his play was monstrous tonight. He gave it everything.

Well the year Jerry West won it in a loosing effort he put up crazy numbers also.  But the Lakers where actually the better team overall and they should have won that final game at home.  So it was well deserved but also a consolation prize for not winning the championship.

20 years since winning his sixth and final championship, 6th NBA Finals MVP and 10th scoring title, no player has came close to matching the legendary record of Michael "G.O.A.T" Jordan. The Bulls championship era was far more exciting than the current 3-point jack up shot modern era. Driving more to the basket and scoring higher percentage shots from close range is far better basketball to watch than every second shot is a 3-point shot.

I used to hate LeBron for his colluding with the Heat Allstars, his constant curb stomping my Bulls from the finals, flopping, and general favoritism from the refs, but I don't think I can hate on him anymore. Even though I'm still pulling for the Warriors, I'm starting to develop a sympathy for him in a way. I mean, aside from his 4 year stint on the Heat, he's had virtually no help during his playoff runs on the Cavs.

Lebrons game 1 performance was as good as jordans 55 pt against Phoenix in the finals. lebron has surpass Kobe and is now the top 3 greatest of all time.

How? This Cavs team is now messed up beyond repair with George Hill missing a FT, JR being high as usual, and the Warriors winning a game that they didn't deserve because they were lazy AF and just feeling out the Cavs. Hill's and Smith's confidence are now all sorts of fucked up which is bad considering they are your starters (Cleveland needs to start Clarkson and Korver next game if they want any sort of chance), and if you thought the Cav's chemistry was bad before, seeing Lebron's postgame interview, it's worse now which I didn't even think is possible. On top of that, Klay Thompson is my favorite player in the league, so I've watched the Warriors all season long, and let me just say, that was worse than anything I saw in the Rocket series. KD was absolute garbage, Klay wasn't as reliable as he could be, and everyone on the bench minus maybe Livingston was non-existent. The only people I can say did their jobs well enough (not perfect, just well enough) was Curry and maybe Green. You can say well the Cavs bench wasn't quite utilized properly, but they never can be if James is going to score 51 points by himself, and on top of that the Warriors minus the 2 players listed didn't live up to expectations so they also technically have room to grow from there. This was a game they NEEDED and HAD in order to make it an interesting series, and while Lebron played out of his mind, his team choked and lost a game that the Warriors didn't deserve.

This game reminded me of Game 1 in the 2001 Finals between Iverson and the Shaq and Kobe Lakers. Iverson's team in comparison was absolute trash, but he won game 1. I thought Lebron was in a similar position going into this series, and he almost had his game 1, but his team blew it for him. I was thinking this would be a 5 Game series for the Warriors, and if the Cavs won last night, it may have gone 6, but after seeing what transpired last night, I'd be in shock if this wasn't a sweep. They couldn't win a game that they controlled, so I now have little faith in them, and that JR play felt like the nail in the coffin for the series. I think Lebron could possibly take 1 game at home, but outside of that the Cavs have zero confidence from me.

Yuck, enough of The Warriors

0-2 down after the first 2 games of the NBA Finals. No big deal, the Cavs came back against the Celtics to win an epic 7 game series. The Warriors are a slightly better opponent than the Celtics. It will be harder for the Cavs to pull off another miracle come back.

lol slightly better then the Celtics, it took a miracle for cavs to beat the warriors with irving, and the warriors didn't even have durant.

And yet funnily enough these 2 losses weren't nearly as bad as those two.  If they played with this kind of effort last year the series would habe been a lot more interesting.

Good news is they aren't disorganized or broken as the hyperbolic people predicted.  Hill actually had quite a good game.  James, unfortunately, didn't have his best.  And they are still shooting well below their typical 3pt percentage.

But the BIGGEST disappointment this game was the Cavs FAILED to learn the number 1 lessonof the last game.  Rebounding. Is. ESSENTIAL.  They cannot let the warriors match or surpass them in the one area where they can absolutely dominate.  And this should frankly go without saying, any team playing another team that is statistically better MUST fight hard to lead in rebounding.
