Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros WiiU, Bayonetta 2, DKC : Tropical Freeze, Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and even Shovel Knight(first platform it came out).

Don't know in which universe you where all this time,lol. Unless you were talking about 2015 ...

Oh crap a typo I meant 2015. Well I had enough of 2d platformers to last a gen, didn't particulary care for Hyrule Warriors and didn't treasure tracker release in January 2015 in Europe. Anyway I sold my Wii U in 2015 and was fully converted to the dark side.

The same year I joined the site! Overall a good year for gaming.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

IMO 2017 is the best year for gaming since 2013. At least for me. 2014 was...okay. I really enjoyed This War of Mine, Never Alone, Child of Light, and Mario Kart 8 in particular, but that's not really a comparable line-up to what I played in 2013 or this year already.

2014 was a shitty year all around. Not just because of GG and the shitstorm that happened on the Internet, but also because games that year were really shitty. 2014 had super glitchy games (like drive club and AC unity) and everyone thought the console market was failing.

Did I mention how awful gamer gate was?

Shovel Knight was great though. Who would have thunk that a pixaleted indie game would be super successful and be followed by dozens of pixaleted indie games?
