I bought it on Wii-U and the DLC...

Since this game is sooo freaking good and is now alot more portable then the Wii-U version I bought it again for the Switch :)



If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

Have fun waiting about 2-3 years on that price drop.  Mario Kart 8 on Wii U is 10 dollars off (still listed at 59 but with a supposed sale) on Amazon.  Nintendo hardly ever drops their price on games like Smash and Kart because they know people will buy them at full price.

I owned MK8 on Wii U, traded mine in for store credit and applied it for MK8 Delux. THAT is my discount. Plus, this isn't like a straight port. It has added features, and at the rate the Switch is selling the vast majority of people that get MK8 delux probably didn't own a wii U in the first place, so it makes sense.

Yea I heard they actually corrected battle mode from their MK8 fuckup.  If it isn't broke don't fix it.  If they wanted to try out a new battle mode with tracks then they should have at least kept an arena mode also to not piss fans off.

Who says its only Wii U owners or MK8 Owners are the only ones buying the game?

You also got 3DS Users who didnt buy MK8 on the Wii U.

Not really.  MK7 added gliding and underwater while MK8 only added anti gravity which was more like going up and down hills when compared to likes of F-Zero.

Im talking mainly on the graphics and playing 4 players on the go!
