Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Europe seems to don`t care much about Switch

They need to get the price to 300€, people are still burnt on the fact that we have to pay more for the system, plus do MK8D bundles in every territory, not just Russia

Ridiculous thread, the console is sold out across pretty much all Europe...

PS4: Tryklon  Steam: Tryklon

Switch: 0307-6588-7010 | New 2DS XL: 2037-2612-6964

MacBook Air (Mid 2017) | iPhone SE | Apple Watch Series 3

Were you expecting Nintendo to take over Sony land?

You can't sell what isn't there.

Still plenty of stock in the UK. There are some places out of stock but you have plenty of options as an alternative source.

Looks to be a slowdown here like wii u although not as bad I think. However many shops aren't pushing the Switch at all. I can't see many casual buyers getting the Switch if its not pushed in their face so to speak.

Definitely feels PS4 is the right choice when you visit shops with the xbox one as the alternative option.

Well, when it says it's in stock at Amazon.co.uk but when you click the link you only get two private sellers who sell one (and all other consoles are like 320 pound +) then it isn't in stock at Amazon for me. The rest is ebay (crazy, you get it on ebay who would have thought) and some store selling it for 330 pounds. So no, doesn't seem to me as if it's available so often.

But hey, if 80% are out of stock and the rest are single units or units for a much higher price it surely means you have plenty of options.

Nintendo should give up.

Well Europe was Nintendo's worst market for the 3DS, and it was very close to being the worst for the WiiU only a bit above Japan.

I expect the Switch will do better in both America and Japan then Europe.

In Europe, you mean? Or in general?

If sales are relatively healthy, even though they don't reach Sony numbers, why shouldn't they try to keep on in this market?

I mean, it's pretty hard to sell more than you've shipped.

Please don't say that when it's not true.

Oh you denying reality once again !! Lawlight, you can deny whatever you want, but can't deny reality.
