Looks like this Online subscription is working! Hopefully that cheaper price for Nintendo will still be implemented.

Honestly yes... Id prefer if non of them did it.

I enjoyed Mario Kart 8 online on the Wii U.

If I get a switch, Im probably not getting MK8D for it, because of this.

Pretty sure we had this come up relatively recently. Sony makes bank off PSN, despite the volume of people announcing their displeasure (and often their recent / imminent dropping of the service) over PS+ titles.

It will be interesting to see how Nintendo's online works out, both in quantity of subs and quality of connection.
