PSN Generates More Revenue than Nintendo

This makes Nintendo's numbers more impressive actually. They're putting up their numbers without benefit of a paid subscription service, so their profits are likely held back and have greater opportunity to grow in the next few years. Nintendo would be a good investment if you can get in at a decent price.

Sorry but what numbers from Nintendo are impressive exactly?

I am sticking to the facts when I say that Sony for many years has been losing money as a company.  That said, all profitable divisions are overshadowed by loses durong that time. Gaming included

And I'll stick to the fact that Sony has made billion dollar profit for the last 2 years. And I'll also stick to the fact that the gaming division has made profits in 2012, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Data before 2012 for gaming isn't available. Your claims are no more relevant. Now that your second argument has been destroyed, what will you be jumping to next?

Two years of profit after a decade of loss and debt.  Sorrybut you have not destroyed anything because even though they have made a profit, it will be a long time before they make back everything that they lost prior to these past two years.

Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-5643-2927-1984

This is all of PSN sales right? Not just revenue from + subscribers?

That's the funny thing about paying to play online. Last gen many Sony and Nintendo fans complained about MS and MS fans were like "that money they generate from it though". This gen, some of the same Sony fans are like "awesome, so much money Sony makes now" even if it comes from what they complained about last gen and when Nintendo will make a lot of money from it in some years you will see some Nintendo fans who will love the profit  NIntendo generates even if it comes from what they didn't like before

Edit: Just to clarify, that's not meant to be against OP, I have no idea what he said about paying for online last gen. Just in general what you can see in some threads.

In the end we fans should be clear to know that every profit the companies make is from us. So if fan X says to fan Y that his company makes more money, than fan X pocket's have probably been better emptied.

It's a real shame that despite PSN doing so well, the quality of PS Plus has dropped considerably in comparison to last generation.

Might be a reason they have better profits though.

Good thing Nintendo's doing a paid online subscription service this generation!

Good for who?

I always am surprised when this happens. I am still shocked that the PlayStation brand is bigger than the Nintendo brand.

How is that shocking exactly?
