With the early success of Switch,  it seems like Nintendo has a good concept. However, it is an underpowered system for this generation, let alone a 9th generation system. Lastly, will it continue to do as well when people are done playing Zelda? The exclusive release calendar is fairly barren this year as far as AA and AAA is concerned. Zelda, Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart, Ultra Street Fighter 2, Fire Emblem Warriors and Splatoon 2. This is where my idea comes in for Sony.

Sony is the exclusive King. This year brings Horizon Zero Dawn, Gravity Rush 2,  Ni No Kuni 2, Gran Turismo, Uncharted: The lost Legacy, Final Fantasy 12 remaster, Yazuka 0, Nioh, Nier Automata, Kingdom Hearts, Valkyria Revolution, Wipeout Omega Collection, Knack 2, MLB: The Show, etc. Possibly God of War 4 too. In 2018 they will likely release The Last of Us 2, FF7 remake, Kingdom Hearts 3, Days Gone, Yakuza 6, Detroit, Dreams, and God of War 4 if not in 2017.

OK, here is my exciting idea! The PS4P! PlayStation Four Portable. A system that can play PS4 games at home and on the go. No drop in resolution for portable mode and a big battery. Maybe $350 with a pack in game or $300 for a stand alone. No gimmick controlers to raise the price. Just another Dual Shock required for local 2 player. 6.2 inch OLED screen with HDR.

Imagine being able to play modern 8th generation games on the go, not 7th or 7.5. Also, there are many older games available for porting: Infamous 2nd Son, Killzone Shadow Fall, Knack, The last Guardian, FF 15, Black Ops III, Destiny, etc. Plus it could handle newer PS4 releases. Just not PS4 Pro versions. What do you guys think?

Power is not so important if we talk Nintendo vs competition, DS was less powerful than PSP, Wii than PS3/Xbox 360 and 3DS than Vita. After Zelda BotW, people have other big games to play, MK8D, ARMS (potential good and big game), Splatoon 2 and Mario Odyssey, and probably some other unanssed game/s for this year, but all of them are huge and system seller games (exept ARMS probably).

"Sony is exclusive king" 3-4 years after PS4 launch, it didnt had almost any exclusive game worth mentone in its 1st year, but even that some Zelda BotW or Mario Odyssey are stronger game than any game you mentione.

What are you talking about is not possible and it want be posible at least for 4-5 years. First it's not possible to fit PS4 hardware in portable/tablet form factor, second even with strongest battery, battery life would be less that 30 min in any case. There is reason why Switch weaker than PS4 and don't have strong battery.

At end, Sony dont need to counter Nintendo Switch at all, PS4 is going great and they totally focused on PS4 only, and they already failed with Vita.

No it never did, wii alone has exclusives enough to double ps4's+ps3 list of exclusives and ps3 doesn't even stand a chance alone. if you want to go on with this list all the ps3 exclusives and i'll list all the wii exclusives, you can even use sequels, it just can't be on x360/pc or wii.

EDIT: i'll help you with this, wii : 332 Exclusives, x360: 221,  ps3: 191 exclusives. ps3 doesn't even beat xbox, so what's gonna be your narrative now? make up more narratives that didn't happen to make a point on your arguments?

Gotta point out that those "exclusive" lists have some glaring inaccuracies, although that should be expected when using wikipedia as a source

Saw timed exclusive games included some of the time, but excluded others (eg. Zelda Skyward Sword included for Wii and TLOU for PS3 despite Wii U and PS4 re-releases, while Uncharted 1-3 and Halo 3-4 aren't included). Same with HD remasters/remakes (Ico + Shadow of Colossus HD are included for PS3 but not Killzone HD). There's games that weren't even released on there (Littlebigplanet HUB) and some that were released but aren't listed (Pokepark Wii, although the sequel was listed for some reason?) and probably a whole bunch of other errors too.

Bet Shiken that COD would outsell Battlefield in 2018. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=8749702

Next up: What memory chips will Micron have to develop to counter Bosch's new lawnmower?? The answer will shock you!

He's clearly talking about this generation. And he only mentioned home console games for Sony, not Vita games.
PS4 has way more exclusives than XBO/WiiU/Switch.

Not that the previous generations were any different. Each Playstation console had more exclusives than its competition.

You mean 323. First of all, it's funny that you say "Wii alone" knowing full well that Wii is the only possible exception. And the fact that it's even a discussion is thanks to 360 getting many of the games that would otherwise be exclusive to PS3. Wii however for the most part did not. Do we even need to compare PS2 vs the competition? Or PS1?
Secondly, I anticipated you would bring up Wii, so let me say two things about that.

1.) PS3 has 317 exclusives just counting disc based releases: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_PlayStation_3_games_released_on_disc
So the margain is already very slim even not counting the digital only PS3 titles. And there are 811 download-only games for PS3. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_download-only_PlayStation_3_games
And it does not include PlayStation minis, PS one Classics or PS2 Classics. Safe to say there are at least 7 exclusives among them.

2.) But even if we pretend for a second that Wii had a numerical advantage here (I doubt it), quality is also a factor.
While that is highly subjective, there is a very important fact to point out when it comes to Wii and third party games. Every popular franchise majorly ignored the Wii.

Even just when it comes to Japan. Here are some of the most popular franchises. All these games are on Playstation 3, but only the bolded ones are on Wii/as well.

Capcom: Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6, Resident Evil: Revelations, Resident Evil: Revelations 2, Tatsunoko vs Capcom, Marvel vs Capcom 3, Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4, Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Ultra Street Fighter 4, Devil May Cry 4, Monster Hunter 3.

Square Enix: Star Ocean 4, Star Ocean 5, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Dragon Quest X (Online MMO), Final Fantasy IXV (Online MMO).

Namco: Tekken 6, Tekken Tag 2, Tales of Symphonia 2, Tales of Vesperia, Tales of Graces, Tales of Xillia, Tales of Xillia 2, Tales of Zestiria.

SEGA: Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, Yakuza 5, Valkyria Chronicles, most Sonic games.

KOEI: A ton of Dynasty games, including spinoffs like Warriors Gundam, One Piece Warriors, etc. Wii got 2 out of 20+ games available on PS3/X360.

Konami: Metal Gear Solid 4, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Castlevania: Judgement, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.

Now while many of those aren't exclusive to PS3, the point is that you can't argue king of third party exclusives when popular third party franchises almost completely ignored the platform. Instead it got some new I.P.'s.

And that's just Japanese games, and not counting older ports. Let's not even talk about western games.
Now while all of those aren't exclusive to PS3, a decent chunk of them are,  but the point is that if Wii got any games from the most popular franchises, it was the rare exception rather than the rule.
You can't be king of third party exclusives when you're rarely ever graced by entries from the biggest franchises.

Why counting those 3rd party games like it will coming to another platform ?

Game such as Yakuza, Tekken 6 and previous titles, MGS IV and previous titles, Star Ocean series except SO1 ...  are exclusive games for PS

Like you can talk about Monster Hunter Tri, Red Steel, the last story, Arc Rise Fantasia, Fragile Dreams ... are exclusive for Nintendo because it obviously will never come to another platform such as PC, Xbox or PS

Then again, I never thinking about purchase a Nintendo hardware for killer specs games but Jrpg and exclusive 1st party
