That's fine they'll probably have a few surprising reveals. Especially since they are so conscious about really having a full schedule for the Switch with smaller waits between big releases. 2017 has tonnes of heavy hitters still with ARMS, Splatoon 2, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and of course Mario Odyssey. That brings it up to Christmas so I expect to see 2 or 3 big announcements for 2018 at E3. Two famous IPs ( Metroid, Pokemon, F-Zero ) and a brand new one. Also MarioKart 8D will get DLC announced.
