Doesn't irk me anymore, after E3 2016 I'm convinced I don't need a long drawn out press conference, just show me the games and let me play them which is what they did last year. I'm all for this new format.

Good. The Digital Events/Directs are way better than the live presentations imo.

Ugh.Goddammit Nintendo.Well, this isnt necessaraly a bad thing, but I would have hoped for a meaty presentation at E3(even if it is a digital event)

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That's fine as long as there is a Direct. I like the Treehouse stuff, but it felt a bit empty last year without a Direct.

At this point, I'm not surprised. Digital shows are their format now, and I don't really mind that. It works well and are a joy to watch. Definitely don't mind if it saves them some costs.

Seems like the Direct/Digital Event format has been working out well for them for a while now so it's not surprising. Either way i'm still just as hyped for their E3 presentation as I already was.

Fantastic.

Nintendo has not hosted a press conference at E3 in several years. The last time was in 2012 – since then we’ve seen various video presentations, although that was ditched entirely last year. The one aspect of Nintendo’s E3 plans that has continued is the Treehouse Live event, which will likely be returning.

Good, Skyward Sword malfunction pretty much explains the live thing itself
