This sounds completely false

Of Course, it would be zero sense to make MH5 PS4 exclusive.

It is still no demon/dark/bloodborne souls.

Frankly, imo it's kinda boring and doesn't have that good gameplay.

A warrior keeps death on the mind from the moment of their first breath to the moment of their last.

I'm pretty sure this is false. No reason to make MH exclusive to a non-handheld, when the best sales for the series are on them. Multiplat sure, exclusive no.

You know it deserves the GOTY.

The appeal of franchise has *always* been the ability to play portably, whether on PSP or 3DS. PS4 cannot do that. Beyond that, Switch is going to overtake PS4 in Japan in short order.

I personally think MonHun is one of the few games betetr fitted for high resolutions, so usually a home console. MH3GHD was the best, because you could see things over bigger distances. On 3DS there were only a few moving pixels for monster further away. That's why I really liked Switch, this was the ideal MonHun-machine in my opinion, as it allows to play on the go but also in HD at home.

MH sales would have been even bigger if the games could run on the DS. Capcom wanted DS, but only PSP could run it.

When the oppurtunity came to ditch Sony portables, Capcom did it, because Sony needed MH more than MH needed Sony.

Well its like you said that making their IPs exclusive keep hurting them. They should have released them on both the 3DS and Vita.

I agree, MonHun for everyone.

Anyone that thought Monster Hunter exclusivity would go to the PS4 has no experience with how the Japanese market, Monster Hunter, or basic economics work. Monster Hunter is a massive Japanese franchise, and it got that way because it's portable. Monster Hunter starter off as a PS2 franchise, where it performed middling at best. Once it moved to the PSP, however, its popularity skyrocketed. Since then, handheld Monster Hunter has gotten so big in Japan that there have been resorts specifically for players to get together and play. The plays don't want to give up portability, and Capcom doesn't want to greatly increase production costs.

The Japanese home console market is dead, and making Monster Hunter a PS4 exclusive would be suicide for the series.
