If true, Capcom may as well get fitted for one of these:

Yeah lets take a Japanese centric franchise where a big part of the appeal is playing portably ... and make it for a home only console that going to get it's ass handed to it by Nintendo in Japan.

The West is never going to care *that* much for Monster Hunter.

Well they didnt release a collection of 5 beloved NES games for the Switch or 3DS, so I think they already have a hat like that...

Well they've pretty much killed Street Fighter this gen and RE7 is not doing that great either. PS4 has done shit for those two IPs. If they want Monster Hunter to decline to minor sales this would be a great way to do it, hey keep going Capcom. You're going to have no major franchises left.

What about Marvel vs Capcom? I seriously don't know why this game doesn't has a switch version

Smart for all parties involved and beneficial for all gamers worldwide. I hope this is true since theres no downside.

That would be a good move for both, 60 million install base and all.
I think mh is a system seller. i have not yet jumped into this gen (1080p), that might be it.

Honestly, that would surprise me. Even on PSP, the MH series has always sold better, in general, as a portable series. Considering the recent success of the 3DS games, if the series was going to migrate to any platform, at this juncture Switch would make more sense, as it doubles as an HD portable.

If it's multiplat then go for it but if it skips the switch that would be a huge dick move
