Ok, so looking at the earning releases, Nintendo had an operating profit of 27M from January 2017 to March 2017.

Because operating profit is different thing, this $920m is total profit (Net Income profit) that Nintendo made.

No its not, I didn't wrote its operating profit, and this is totally pure profit for Nintendo (Net Income profit, it includes taxes and other costs).

It wouldn't surprised me if WiiU made more money than Ps3 either.

Important to note that Pokemon Go and the sale of Seattle Mariners are two huge contributors to that net profit. That being said, operating profit was still good at $264 million, but Nintendo expects this to more than double in the new financial year, so we could be looking at a real return to form for Nintendo's core business in the next 12 months.

Anyone remember when the new President said the goal was to return to Wii/DS like profits and people were all over the thread dismissing it as not possible? All of a sudden it doesn't seem so far fetched.

Quite right. About 70% of those profit comes from the sale of the Seattle Mariners.

Because they done similar Wii/DS profit now, and future looks bright with Switch!?

Profit mostly due to the sale of the Seattle Mariners. Read my previous posts in this topic.

What makes you think they can't as they just had a year that achieved it and this is before their business plan is fully in motion.
